Landy Paint Ventures is the creation of Meredith Landy, a paint horse enthusiast who competes in APHA amateur all-around events. Meredith showed paint horses as a youth during the 1970's, and earned National Championships and Top 10 Youth awards with horses such as Red Wampum and Blue Thunder. She also served as President of the American Junior Paint Horse Association from 1977-1978. She sold her horses to pursue a college education and did not ride again until 1997. In her "real" life, Meredith is a partner at the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers, where she specializes in securities litigation.

Today, Meredith competes in amateur all-around events at a national level. Some significant highlights of Meredith’s show career have been winning numerous World and Reserve-World Championships as well as multiple Top-20 National Honor Roll placings.

Meredith is trained by world-class trainer Karen Qualls of Chino Hills, California. Karen is one of the nation's top trainers of youth and amateurs, particularly for all-around events.
